This is how the beautiful form of the Japanese sword is created.

Seki City, Gifu, is famous for blade production using traditional Japanese sword making techniques handed down. On open house days, you can see the sword making performances guided by sword makers explaining each process by themselves so that you may find the secret why Japanese swords are so sharp and hard to break or bend, with beautiful patterns appearing on the blade.
