Yoshihiro Tatsuki was born in Tokushima Prefecture in 1937. He joined AD Center in 1958, then went freelance in 1969. His photography features women and snapshots. He works in advertising, magazines, and publishing. He has won several awards, including the Rookie Award at the 9th Japan Photography Critics Association in 1965, the Japan Professional Photographers Society Annual Award in 1997, and the Japan Professional Photographers Society Creator’s Award in 2010. His work has been published in photograph collections such as Eves, Private:Mariko Kaga, My America, To-ji, and more recently, Tōkyōtō, Doki Naki Shashin (Just Because), and his 1965 debut work, Shitadashi Tenshi (A Fallen Angel). Photo exhibition “Yesterdays” was held in 2018 at Chanel Nexus Hall.
